Recently we have been working on creating a story and telling it through google maps. I use google maps all the time so I know how to use it pretty well. However, I've never thought to try and create my own on it. It has been very hard to think of something to do but I have final decided to go for the idea of a bank robbery and creating lots of clues and evidence and displaying it all over the map.
I looked at other google map stories in order to try and gain knowledge and get an idea if what I could do mine about. I didn't find many stories that I felt I could do as some were involving different countries across the world and I didn't have the access to do that.
Then I came up with the bank job idea and it went from there. I enjoying creating my own little robbery and plotting clues and evidence around the city.

After Effects
In the past few weeks we have been using the software after effects to edit out images we have previously created. It is my first time using the software and I find it tricky too use. I didn't have a clue how to use it at all at first but I'm starting to get the hang of it and will hopefully be able to produce a good piece of work from it.

Location Profile Filming - Goodison Park
On Saturday, when Everton played Norwich City at home, we decided to film our time lapse looking down Goodison road. We chose this location so that we could show how busy the streets get on a match day and how quiet they are before the match. We also tried to incorporate some idea of the work that people put in around the ground prior to the match in order for it to be ready for the fans coming to the game.
Table Top Story
Today in the Contemporary Media Issues module we we're set a brief to create a table top story. For ours we decided to show the table of a man with heart problems and a gambling addiction. He was also an alcoholic and a drug abuser The man was to find out he won the lottery but because of the excitement of winning such a large sum of money, he head a heart attack and died before he could claim his prize. The image below is of the table top story that we created.
